Bacolod City

Bacolod City is a 1st-class highly-urbanized city in the Philippines. It is the provincial capital of Negros Occidental in Western Visayas, located in the Visayas.

As a highly-urbanized city, it is administratively independent from Negros Occidental.

Bacolod City has a population of 600,783 as of the 2020 Census, and a land area of 160.71 square kilometers. It consists of 61 barangays.

In the 2022 elections, the city had 327,403 registered voters.
