INTERVIEW. Beatrice Luigi Gomez shared her thoughts about inspiring others during the Q&A segment.

Beatrice’s winning answer was: “It is very evident that all of us went through difficulties during this pandemic, but it is also proof that we are able to rise to the occasion, and if anything happened to me during my reign, I will not give up and inspire others by rising to the problems that I am encountering and by inspiring them that what you are going through, you will be able to overcome it.”

The 26-year-old was crowned by Rabiya Mateo.

Beatrice bested 27 other candidates who competed in-person during the pageant finals. This year’s edition started with 100 delegates. The list was whittled down to the top 30 after a series of challenges.

Prior to securing a spot in the Top 30, Beatrice was also named the winner in the introduction challenge.

As the Miss Universe Philippines 2021, Beatrice is set to compete in the international pageant, which will be held in Israel in December.  –
