Senator Manny Pacquiao warns corrupt officials as he accepts his nomination as 2022 presidential bet
Boxer-turned-senator Manny Pacquiao is ready to take on the giants.
Pacquiao said he is running for president in 2022, after PDP-Laban officials nominated him on Sunday, September 19, as their standard-bearer in the upcoming elections.
In his acceptance speech, Pacquiao took a swipe at President Rodrigo Duterte and his allies for looking down on him and for the administration’s failed anti-corruption drive.
“Your time is up,” warned Pacquiao, as he promised to put corrupt officials in jail if he wins the presidency.
