Western Visayas

Western Visayas, also known as Region VI, is a region of the Philippines, located in the Visayas. It has a population of 7,954,723 as of the 2020 Census, and a land area of 20,778.29 square kilometers.

The region is composed of the provinces of Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Guimaras, Iloilo, and Negros Occidental, and the highly-urbanized cities of Iloilo City and Bacolod City. Its regional center is Iloilo City.

In the 2022 elections, the region had 5,026,482 registered voters.
